Introducing Scorch!
The SuperNovas held a contest to name its mascot, and the winner was Donna Oliver, with the name Scorch! You may spot him at league showdown matches or on a piece of team merchandise, which is on sale now. Donna will receive a hat compliments of the team. Scorch, embodies our team vibe – intense and fiery, competitive and fun.
SuperNova Petr Minar is an accomplished senior pro player out of Virginia whose calm and focused demeanor on the court helps him succeed at many levels. He enjoys biking and getting out on the pickleball court with his son.

SuperNovas team owner Dani Mackey has been a proud resident of NOVA since 1996. She is a competitive player and has won national titles including gold medals in singles at Nationals, women’s doubles at the U.S. Open and women’s and mixed doubles at the Irish Open in Dublin. Dani is also a Level 1 USA Pickleball Referee.
